Apple Autos is proud to be partnering with Hope Chest For Breast Cancer in 2017 with our Oil Change for Hope campaign.

During the month of May for every oil change completed at any of our Apple Autos locations we will be donating $1 to Hope Chest.  We are excited to announce that our guests will be able to double their donation when they post a photo and/or check in at Apple Autos on their Facebook or Instagram accounts using #appleautos and #oilchangeforhope.  Over $6000 was donated during our 2016 Oil Change for Hope campaign and in 2017 we are hoping to donate over $10,000.

Hope Chest has assisted patients with over $1.5 million in emergency assistance grants since its inception.  This year alone it is expected that 4,230 people in Minnesota will be diagnosed with breast cancer.   Hope Chest ensures the best use of its funds with a low operating cost leading to 84% of its revenue going directly to breast cancer patients and programming.

All Apple Autos Locations are Toys for Tots Drop-off Locations

Toys for Tots

Apple Autos is proud to support Toys for Tots  by providing drop off points at all Apple Autos locations in Apple Valley, Shakopee and Northfield.  Toys for Tots is a charitable program of the U.S. Marine Corps. We’ll be collecting toys that the Marines will distribute to families in need. Our employees are already bringing in toys to get the ball rolling.

In 1995, the Secretary of Defense approved Toys for Tots as an official activity of the U. S. Marine Corps and an official mission of the Marine Corps Reserve. Since its inception the Toys for Tots program has distributed over 512 million toys to over 237 million less fortunate children.

This is a great organization to support. Their mission is simple and has an immeasurable effect on kids during the Christmas season. Since  2005, the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance reported that Marine Toys for Tots Foundation has met all 20 of its standards and been designated as an accredited charity.

Please join us in making Christmas a little better for kids in our community.

When You Buy a Car a Kid Gets a Bike

Wheels for Wheels is an Apple Autos promotion that supports  Free Bikes for Kids ( For every new car Apple Autos sells in November we’ll donate the funds necessary to acquire and recondition a bike to be given away. We’re committed to providing $10,000 so that lots of kids can have a bike this holiday season.

In 2008 Free Bikes for Kids gave away 300 bikes, in 2015 – 5000 bikes, this year – who knows. In the last eight years over 30,000 bikes have rolled through and FB4K is not done yet—their sights are set on other locations throughout the US and the world.

Free Bikes 4 Kidz is a non-profit organization geared toward helping all kids ride into a happier, healthier childhood by providing bikes to those most in need. The public donates gently used bikes, FB4K organizes thousands of volunteers to clean and refurbish them, and then  give them away to kids in need.
